Abstract

In the late 20th century, a series of technological, social, and environmental trends began to emerge with great force, driving profound changes in human society and generating a new consciousness. This article examines how the emergence of the personal computer and the Internet accelerated the exchange of information globally, transforming social configurations and generating phenomena such as "infoglut." It highlights the decline of large
corporations, the rise of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the emergence of new technological trends such as Robotics and Virtual Countries.
